PLINKY PROMPT: The zombie apocalypse has arrived. What do you do?

Left 4 Dead infected

First, I obtain guns – a shotgun and some sort of rifle. I will also need a machete. Or a frying pan. Or an electric guitar. Oh, and some Boomer bile.

Top US Law Schools

I’m back from my semi-annual midterms hibernation season! I thought it would be appropriate to kick off my awakening with a continuation of this series.

As you can see from the picture above, I’ve recoiled into my OCD in order to stem the freaked-out-ness of college-seniordom.

Hah! I Told You So, Didn’t I?

PLINKY PROMPT: Describe a “Hah! I told you so” moment you had recently.

Keep in mind, this kind of thing happens at my job about once every day.

These metal baskets are the holes

So, I always thought that Nintendo made up frisbee golf for the Wii Sports Resort game. Boy was I wrong. It’s real! And people play it! And they take it seriously!

What: “War” by Sebastian JungerWar Book Cover

Why: I work at a movie theater. As a theater employee I get to meet all the writers, directors, actors, and other figures that come in to do Q&As on the movies. We’re currently showing Restrepo, a FANTASTIC Nat-Geo documentary about the “Deadliest Place on Earth,” the Korengal Valley in Afghanistan. Junger and a talented (and SUPER NICE) photographer/videographer named Tim Heatherington spent oodles of time with Battle Company in the valley. Read more…
